About Us
Gippsland Secured Investments Ltd. (GSI)
(Founding Directors Ian
Campbell, Murray Graham and Milton Murphy) |
Gippsland Secured Investments Ltd., or GSI as we're known, was
formed in 1970 by the three founding directors Ian Campbell, Murray
Graham (retired) and Milton Murphy (dec'd) all then prominent
Gippsland Lawyers of the legal firm of Warren, Graham & Murphy
(WG&M).
|
|
GSI was created to address the need for finance for local
projects that were not being serviced by the city-centric mainstream
banks, due largely to their lack of local knowledge and confidence
in what East Gippsland had to offer.
|
|
Since that time, GSI has prospered and grown to become one of the
largest finance companies of its type in regional Victoria, having
assets under management in excess of $95 Million and a significant
player in Victoria's non-bank finance industry. GSI continues to
provide a mechanism for mortgage finance for development,
investment, residential and rural projects that benefits the
Gippsland community and regional prosperity. In the last five years
alone, GSI has supported regional development by funding in excess
of $175 Million for various projects throughout the breadth of the
Gippsland region.

|
Launching into our 40th year of successful operation,
we recently celebrated this milestone with a formal dinner to honour
the three founding Directors and to initiate what will be the
beginning of a proud and celebratory year for the company in 2010.
(See Important Notices - Messages from the Board: 40 Year
Celebrations for further details of this event)
Managed by the Board of Directors who meet regularly to oversee
the company's operations, GSI has, with the benefit of prudent
management, enjoyed sound profitability and steady growth. |

Murphy, Geoff Ellis, Ian Campbell, Glenn Sanford, John Stephenson
and Tony Stewart, launching GSI's 40th year celebrations in December
