About Us
Gippsland Secured Investments Ltd. (GSI)

(Founding Directors Ian
Campbell, Murray Graham and Milton Murphy) |
Gippsland Secured Investments Ltd., or GSI as we're known, was
formed in 1970 by the three founding directors Ian Campbell, Murray
Graham (dec'd) and Milton Murphy (dec'd) all then prominent
Gippsland Lawyers of the legal firm of Warren, Graham & Murphy
(WG&M).
|
|
GSI was created to address the need for finance for local
projects that were not being serviced by the city-centric mainstream
banks, due largely to their lack of local knowledge and confidence
in what East Gippsland had to offer.
|
|
Since that time, GSI has prospered and grown to become one of the
largest finance companies of its type in regional Victoria, having
assets under management in excess of $124 million and a significant player in
Victoria's non-bank finance industry. GSI continues to provide a mechanism for
mortgage finance for development, investment, residential and rural projects
that benefits the Gippsland community and regional prosperity. In the last six years
alone, GSI has supported regional development by funding in excess
of $225 million for various projects throughout the breadth of the
Gippsland region.

Initiating what was to be the beginning of a proud and celebratory year for the
company in 2010, in December 2009, we launched the beginning of our 40th year
celebrations with a formal dinner to honour the three founding Directors (See

Whilst we held several events throughout the year, on
Sunday 19th December 2010, GSI conducted its 40th Birthday finale celebration at
the Bairnsdale Sporting and Convention Centre with Denis Walter as our special
guest.
GSI Directors, staff, local dignatories and business associates were joined by over
130 clients in celebrating and marking this important company event in history.
